The Red Lion Inn doesn't close its doors at Christmas.  Come and enjoy your Christmas works party, Christmas lunch or even your christmas day meal with us.  Surrounded by the beautiful countryside and breath-taking views, The Red Lion Inn is a totally new experience at Christmas.

We run three menus during the Christmas period, this allows you to choose which time suits you best and also which menu dishes you would like to try.  If you would like to spend your Christmas day lunch with us we strongly advise you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Our menus are constantly updated to reflect ever-changing trends, as well as the tried and tested traditional favourites, we offer a 'Chefs Special Board', which allows the Chefs to create more ambitious dishes, to an already extensive menu, this is changed every Friday.

MAIN COURSES

Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without the traditional roast turkey and all the trimmings, but Christmas is also a time for giving, so we've added a few more mouth-watering dishes to choose from.

• TRADITIONAL ROAST STAFFORDSHIRE TURKEY served with stuffing, chipolatas, sausage and both bread and cranberry sauces
• OVEN BAKED SALMON STEAK served with a rich and creamy asparagus sauce
• ROAST TOP SIDE OF BEEF served with chasseur sauce

VEGETARIAN OPTION

• ROASTED BUTTER NUT SQUASH stuffed with broccoli, topped with brie and served with a pesto dressing

One of the main attractions of The Red Lion Inn is the superb reputation of our food.

Head Chef, Mark Sandall, who has been with us for several years, has brought to our food menu his artistry and skill which are paramount to our success. He has a dedicated team of Chefs, each specialising in their own fields, enabling us to offer an extensive selection of sumptuous home cooked locally produced food for all appetites.
