Head Chef, Mark SandallOne of the main attractions of The Red Lion Inn is the superb reputation of our food.

Head Chef, Mark Sandall, who has been with us for several years, has brought to our food menu his artistry and skill which are paramount to our success. He has a dedicated team of Chefs, each specialising in their own fields, enabling us to offer an extensive selection of sumptuous home cooked locally produced food for all appetites.

Food Served:

Tuesday - Friday 6pm till 9pm

Saturday 6pm till 9.30pm

Sunday 12noon till 8pm

As well as the tried and tested traditional favourites, we offer a 'Chefs Special Board', which allows the Chefs to create more ambitious dishes, to an already extensive menu, this is changed every Friday.

We only use the very best british beef and source our meat as close to home as possible.  Steaks are cooked to your liking, slowly on a char-grill.

All steaks will be served with home-made chips or potatoes of the day, seasonal vegetables or salad, grilled tomato and mushrooms. Onion rings will be included with all beef steaks.
