Undoubtedly Abbot Ale is one of our most popular tipples. Abbot is made using traditional brewing techniques and British hops which combine to produce an extremely quaffable fruity, malty beer. Our range of traditional ales changes regularly, often featuring two or three different guest ales per week. Ask at the bar for details of our current offering. Our range of draft beers and lagers includes Peroni and Amstel.

We also have an extensive wine list, comprising of several affordable favourites as well as few special bottles. Our white Rioja has delicate aromas and a refreshing taste, which makes it an excellent pairing with pork or chicken dishes. For those who prefer fruity reds McGuigan Black Label Merlot is for you. It is a soft red bursting with rich jammy flavours and a slight hint of spice. It is ideal with any red meat dishes. We also feature a range of sparkling wines and Champagnes which make any celebration a little more memorable.

The Red Lion also serve a good range of malt whiskeys including Dalwhinnie and Monkey Shoulder.
