Follow the twists and turns of the country roads towards Thorncliffe, and you will find yourself at the delightful Red Lion country inn. This traditional free house dates back to 1787 and is nestled in a secluded spot bordering the Staffordshire Moorlands and Peak District National Park. The Red Lion is renowned for its homemade food, with only the best quality local produce being used.

The pub is being lovingly restored by the Sutton family, who promise a warm welcome for all their customers.
